FARMEC was first established in 1945. Today it employs 700 people and has ~ 60% of the Romanian cosmetic market. The production is in an ISO 9001 facility in Cluj Napoca, in Transylvania, Romania.

FARMEC exports products to other European countries, Latin America, Asia and now in the USA.
